Upper Clowhom, Canada
Mavel provided the mechanical equipment for the 11.3 MW Upper Clowhom hydroelectric power plant located in British Columbia. The greenfield site, which was commissioned in 2010, has a rated net head of 165.2 meters and a discharge of 7.9 m3/s. Mavel's scope included one vertical Pelton turbine with inside runner diameter of 1700 mm, synchronous generator, valves, and installation/commissioning supervision.

Mavel was contracted to provide production, delivery, assembly and commissioning of one Pelton turbine for the new 750 kW Armamar hydro plant on the Temilobos river in Portugal.
